Cyberpunk 2077 gets a new gameplay trailer as part of final Night City Wire episode

By Heidi Nicholas,
Following on from the surprise Night City Wire special which showed us Xbox One X/Xbox Series X footage and even one achievement, CD Projekt Red has now unveiled the final Night City Wire episode for Cyberpunk 2077, which is all about Keanu Reeves and Johnny Silverhand — with a brand new gameplay trailer right at the end.

After a trailer for Johnny Silverhand, we had an extensive look at Keanu working with motion capture to capture the character. Reeves discussed the role in depth, saying that one of the things that drew him to it was the option for different dialogue choices and moods — the idea that there are so many different ways that Johnny might respond to one piece of dialogue. He talked about working on a "library of gestures" and the "toolbox for animators to work with the character," and mentioned all the varying aspects to the complicated character of Johnny Silverhand himself. The devs, meanwhile, described Johnny as more of a "co-protagonist of the game rather than a sidekick."

The episode then covered the music and score for the game, before a new gameplay trailer was shown at the end. We see V driving, swimming, fighting, riding a rollercoaster, and exploring all parts of Night City, as well as some more glimpses of the customisation options available. There's a whole lot going on in this new trailer, so be sure to check it out:

Cyberpunk 2077 launches in three weeks, on December 10th.
