Xbox Game Pass gets 17 new games in December

By Brittany Vincent,
Xbox Game Pass is getting a hefty update for December, with a few select games headlining the latest drop. There are over 17 games filling out this massive addition to the Game Pass library, with some big names rounding out the roster.

Control and Doom Eternal are the first two additions to the service, and they're set to debut on December 3rd. Control will touch down for both Android and console players, while Doom Eternal will be available for Xbox Game Pass users on PC.

Following that, games ranging from the fantastic RPG Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age to the new mystery adventure Call of the Sea will be filing out the rest of the game drop. This news follows some will-they-or-won't-they rumors that Control would end up making it to the service.

In addition to Control and Doom Eternal, Haven, Slime Rancher, Yes, Your Grace, and Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action (PC only) will be available on December 3rd. Rage is being added for play on Android devices on the same day, if you haven't had the chance yet to give that a whirl.

The party doesn't stop there, though. As of December 8th, you can jump into Call of the Sea, Monster Sanctuary, and Starbound (PC only). One day later on December 9th, Unto The End drops. On December 10th, there's another big addition to the collection: GreedFall, Gang Beasts, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, and Assetto Corsa.
