Dead Cells' new Fatal Falls DLC arrives next year with new levels, weapons, & enemies

By Heidi Nicholas,
A new Dead Cells DLC is on the way soon, bringing two more mid-game areas along with new levels, weapons, enemies, and a new boss. Fatal Falls is "landing early 2021," according to the teaser trailer.

Motion Twin will share more about the DLC soon, but for now we know that there will be a new boss and two new biomes: Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores, which the devs say over on Dead Cells' Steam page and news update are "a parallel to the Stilt Village, Clock Tower & Time Keeper areas and their alternate paths."

Apparently, you should expect a lot of rain with these new biomes. The devs say you'll "leap between floating islands dotted with deadly traps and treacherous ledges at Fractured Shrines" and "descend a cliff face in the middle of a storm at The Undying Shores, where some familiar faces lie in wait" — luckily, the DLC will also be "stuffed with new weapons & enemies."

Fatal Falls is priced at $4.99 and "regional equivalents" for PC and consoles. We'll update you when we hear more about this new DLC.
