The Master Chief could be heading to Fortnite as new Halo-themed skins leak online

By Sean Carey,
The Master Chief could be coming to Fortnite according to a new rumour. Several screenshots have been posted that show various Halo cosmetics as coming to the battle royale game.

The screenshots come via the Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account (thanks, Windows Central), which is known for leaking Fortnite content early. From what the account has leaked so far, it looks players will be able to purchase a Master Chief skin, a Warthog emote, and a Pelican glider. Further reports suggest that a Halo Capture the Flag limited-time mode could also be on the way.

Interestingly, it also looks like God of War's Kratos is heading to Fortnite. Sony has uploaded a short Fortnite teaser that talks of a man who's "literally vanquished multiple gods with his bare hands in a fit of uncontrollable rage." An image showing Kratos as joining the Fortnite lineup was also leaked.

Although nothing has been confirmed by either Microsoft or Epic Games on the Halo front, these screenshots do look somewhat believable. It's probably worth taking the rumour with a pinch of salt for now until we get official confirmation.

Epic Games recently revealed that Fortnite's latest in-game Marvel-themed event attracted a record-breaking 15.3 million concurrent players.
