By Sean Carey,
The EA Play library was due to join Xbox Game Pass for PC today. However, Microsoft has now announced a delay and has asked players for "a little more patience."

Xbox Game Pass EA Play delayed

In a statement, the Xbox Game Pass team said, "We established this partnership with Electronic Arts because they are as passionate as we are about helping people and communities discover great games, and we knew we could provide a great experience for members by working together. In order to deliver on that, we need more time to provide the Xbox Game Pass experience.

"We’ll have more to share early next year; as always, we appreciate your support as we work to deliver this experience for our Xbox Game Pass members."

EA Play joined Xbox Game Pass for console back in November with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and brought with it some of EA's finest games such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Mass Effect 2, and Dead Space. This news from Microsoft means that Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the EA Play library.

EA Play will join Xbox Game Pass for PC sometime in 2021. As soon as we hear more, we'll update you.
