Xbox Games with Gold for January 2021 revealed, with 3,000 Gamerscore up for grabs

By Heidi Nicholas,
The Games with Gold lineup for January 2021 has now been announced. Little Nightmares and Dead Rising are arriving for Xbox One, while The King of Fighters XIII and Breakdown will be available for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One via backward compatibility.

Little Nightmares will be available for the whole month of January, from the 1st to the 31st, just in time for you to catch up before Little Nightmares 2 releases on February 11th. Dead Rising will be available into February, from January 16th to February 15th. The King of Fighters XIII and Breakdown will be available for around two weeks: The King of Fighters XIII from January 1st to January 15th, and Breakdown from January 16th to January 31st.

Little Nightmares and Dead Rising are usually priced at $19.99/£15.99 each, with The King of Fighters XIII at $29.99/£19.99 and Breakdown at $9.99/£9.19. Overall, next month's offerings for Games with Gold have an overall worth of $79.96 and a combined total of 3,000 Gamerscore.

Little Nightmares and Dead Rising both have a very respectable rating on TA, with Little Nightmares sitting at 4.10/5, and Dead Rising rated at 4.35/5, while The King of Fighters XIII follows just behind at 3.85/5. Little Nightmares has an estimated completion time of between ten and twelve hours, and we have a great Little Nightmares walkthrough to help with that. Dead Rising should take you considerably more time, with an estimated completion of between 40 and 50 hours, but we've also got a Dead Rising walkthrough to help out. We don't yet have a King of Fighters XIII walkthrough, so if you've already played it and feel up to sharing your walkthrough wisdom, you can always head over to the walkthrough forum and volunteer! In the meantime, you can have a look at what's coming up in January with the game descriptions below:
