Cyberpunk 2077's 'Breathtaking' is your favourite achievement of 2020

By Luke Albigés,
We fully expected some of the Cyberpunk 2077 achievements to do well in our 2020 poll results, but maybe not this well. Picking up the top spot in two of the four achievement-based categories in our Game of the Year 2020 voting, Cyberpunk's 'Breathtaking' achievement has emerged as your collective favourite in the results.

The achievement — which tasks players with rounding up every item that once belonged to Keanu Reeves' character, Johnny Silverhand — came out on top in both the 'Best Achievement Name' and 'Most Original Achievement' categories, only being beaten in the 'Most Enjoyable Achievement' and 'Achievement You're Proudest Of' polling. Not overly surprising really, since the achievement is just a case of collecting six objects, which doesn't exactly sound like the pinnacle of entertainment or challenge. Still, it's a fun reference to a memorable moment, so it's certainly worthy of scooping up a gong or two.

We're still in the process of finalising the results for the other categories, but hoping to share the full results of your voting in the next few days — be sure to check back later this week to find out if your favourites managed to come out on top!

Which games are you expecting to see do well in the TA Game of the Year 2020 awards? Will Cyberpunk be back to pick up any more accolades? And does 'Breathtaking' deserve its place as the TA community's favourite achievement of 2020? Let us know your thoughts below...
