Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is getting some new Zombies and multiplayer content in a mid-season update rolling out next week.

Black Ops Cold War multiplayer cross-gen

Treyarch has confirmed that the update will arrive on January 14th, and while the developer hasn't revealed everything that'll be included in the patch notes, it has released a few details, including some new modes for both multiplayer and Zombies.

In multiplayer, a new 6v6 mode called Dropkick that has you fighting an enemy team for control of nuclear launch codes will be introduced, alongside a "massive" new Fireteam map called Sanatorium. Treyarch says it's "turning the intensity up to 11" in Zombies with the release of Cranked, a new mode where you must kill zombies to reset a timer that's counting down to your death.

The Season One mid-season update rolls out next week on January 14th.
