Microsoft reveals new Pulse Red Xbox Series X|S controller

By Sean Carey,
Back in November, Microsoft revealed three colour options for its new Xbox Series X|S controller: Carbon Black, Robot White, and Shock Blue. Today, the company has announced a new colour that's due to hit shelves in February.

Xbox Pulse Red Series X|S controller

The new Xbox Series X|S controller in Pulse Red is the same as other Series X|S pads in terms of functionality. The only difference is that striking Pulse Red colour. You've still got the hybrid D-pad, textured pattern on the triggers and grips, a Share button, and dynamic latency input that delivers "controller inputs more frequently to your Xbox Series X|S for a more responsive gaming experience."

Like the other Series X|S controllers, the Pulse Red pad will wirelessly connect to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One via the built-in Xbox Wireless radio, and Windows 10 PCs and Android devices via Bluetooth.

The Xbox Wireless Controller in Pulse Red will be available to purchase for $64.99 from February 9th in most markets.
