Ubisoft updates list of Assassin's Creed Valhalla issues to be fixed in a future update

By Heidi Nicholas,
If you're still working towards those Assassin's Creed Valhalla achievements, you might have been running into some bugs or issues with quest progression during your playthrough. Valhalla is a great game, but still has a number of issues which need ironing out. Luckily, Ubisoft recently updated the list of known issues for the game and outlined which will be fixed in a future update, as well as promising more info on the game's upcoming fixes soon.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Ubisoft forum post lists the issues which will be fixed in a future update, and it looks as though the update will sort out a number of progression problems. Several quests are causing issues and blocking players from proceeding, but Clues and Riddles, War Weary, A Little Problem, Settling Down, and Brewing Rebellion should all be fixed in an upcoming update. However, there are still a number of quests blocking progression which are still listed as "under investigation," including A Brother's Keeper, Taken for Granted, The Seas of Fate, A Rivalry for the Ages, Road to Hamartia, In Absence of an Ealdorman, and The Big Finish. Plus, it seems some quests have more than one issue. For instance, this future update should fix the problem in the A Sword-Shower in Anecastre quest where you're stuck after making a pledge, but an issue where a key character doesn't move has yet to be fixed. Likewise, the bug in the Walls and Shadows quest where the cinematic doesn't start properly will be addressed in the update, but the issue with the objective not updating is still being investigated.

This future update will also fix the problem which blocked players from interacting with settlement NPCs, as well as fixing a number of encounters, and ensuring that fish will spawn properly. A few issues seem to have cropped up after update 1.1.0 such as being unable to fast travel and the wrong number of arrows appearing in Eivor's quiver, and this future update should sort these out too. You can check the full list of known issues, including those which have been resolved and those which are still under investigation, over on the Ubisoft forum post, and we'll update you when the patch is on the way.
