Riders Republic delayed until later this year

By Sean Carey,
Ubisoft has announced that Riders Republic has been delayed until later this year to give the development team more time to complete the game.

A statement from the Riders Republic Twitter account reads, "Today, we want to let you know that we have made the decision to move our release to later this year. This additional time will allow our passionate team to deliver the best fun fueled experience to our players." Riders Republic was due to launch on February 25th, but it's now unclear exactly when Ubisoft plans to release the game.

Riders Republic is a large-scale multiplayer extreme sports game that allows you and up to 49 other players on Xbox Series X|S (20+ players on Xbox One) to explore massive open maps by mountain bike, snowboard, skis, or wingsuit. You'll be able to compete in large-scale races and in more concentrated modes such as trick competitions and other team-based multiplayer modes.

Riders Republic will now launch for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One sometime later this year.
