Easy Gamerscore: The 50 quickest game completions from the latest Xbox sales

The latest Xbox sale is now live, and this week we've found a whopping 50 quick completions on offer. We've got a little bit of everything, including a sprinkling of games from Xitilon, a dash of titles from Artifex Mundi, and of a pinch of easy completions from Ratalaika and Sometimes You.

In our list below, we've provided you with links to each game's hub where you can find achievement lists, achievement guides, and full walkthroughs if one has been written.

Before we go any further, it's worth remembering that publisher Xitilon was told to reverse some of the easy achievement changes it made in some of its games. Completion times in Pixel Gladiator, Castle of no Escape and Castle of no Escape 2 may be longer than what is shown in our list. Since the reversal, there have also been reports that achievements in some of these games are no longer unlocking correctly, so bear that in mind.

The Journey Down: Chapter Two

The game with the lowest TA ratio this week is the point-and-click adventure, The Journey Down: Chapter Two. For 1,000 Gamerscore, you'll need to unlock 14 achievements, which, according to estimates, takes less than an hour to do. All achievements bar two are unlocked just by playing through the game's story. The remaining two are both missable and listed as secret achievements, so it's worth following our The Journey Down: Chapter Two walkthrough, so you don't miss those. The Journey Down: Chapter Two is on sale as part of The Journey Down Trilogy for $15.99/£12.79. Both Journey Down chapters one and three are included in the bundle and are also easy completions.

Mecho Tales

This week's cheapest game from the 50 available is Mecho Tales. This run-and-gun title is on sale for just $0.99/£0.83 and has 11 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore. Most of the achievements are tied to playing through the story, and there are a couple of cumulative achievements that you will need to grind out, but they shouldn't give you much trouble. According to estimates and our Mecho Tales walkthrough, a completion will take between two and three hours. It looks like you'll just be playing this one for the Gamerscore, as Mecho Tales sits with a pitiful community rating of 1.88/5.

Inside

Inside is the highest-rated game on our list this week with a community rating of 4.27/5. The platformer has just 14 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore and takes between three and four hours to unlock. Looking at its list, all of the achievements are flagged as collectables, so it might be worth following our Inside walkthrough that details where to find each one. Inside is on sale as part of the Inside & Limbo Bundle for $10.49/£8.39.
