Rainbow Six Siege's Crimson Heist kicks off Year 6 with a new Operator & Border map rework

By Heidi Nicholas,
Crimson Heist introduces the new Rainbow Six Siege Operator Flores, as well as a new secondary weapon option for other select Attackers, a rework of the Border map, and more.

Flores is an Attacker with medium speed and armour. His RCE-Ratero gadgets are basically bombs on drones, and have a number of uses. Once these drones have been deployed, they won't stop or slow down unless destroyed or triggered. If Flores does trigger them, they become armoured and bulletproof and come to a complete stop before detonating. Since they can jump, Flores can use them to stick to destructible surfaces to clear barricades. Flores is also armed with AR33 assault rifle, GSH-18 handgun, stunt grenade, SR-25 marksman rifle, and a claymore. You can get Flores through the premium track of Crimson Heist's Battle Pass, or unlock him with Renown or R6 credits for two weeks after the season begins.

Several other Attackers will also get a new secondary weapon option. Ubisoft says that although the Gonne-6 only has a single round, "this secondary weapon can make a crucial difference by taking out bulletproof gadgets, including bulletproof cameras, deployable shields, Maestro’s Evil Eye turrets, Castle’s barricades, and more." Crimson Heist brings another change with a rework of the Border map, including a new outside staircase to the Archives, a balcony connecting East Stairs to the Break Room, and a new destructible wall in the Bathroom. According to the trailer above, Crimson Heist should begin on March 16th.
