EA has just announced that Madden NFL 21, the most recent title in the annual sports series, will be coming to Xbox Game Pass and EA Play next week, on March 2nd.

In a new Xbox Wire post, EA's Ellie Day shared the news that the latest Madden title would be joining both services next week. "Explore over 50 new Superstar and X-Factor abilities fresh out of the lab designed to elevate the stars of a new generation," the post boasts. "Pull up for a brand-new season of Ultimate Team content as you earn rewards to finesse your depth chart and flex your fantasy roster on the competition." It goes on to mention that EA Play members will also get three Gold Team Fantasy MUT Packs every month.

Madden NFL 21 was featured as part of a Free Play Days weekend event just a few weeks ago, but will soon be fully playable any time for subscribers to either service. The game first released in late August last year, with an Xbox Series X|S version following in December. Both are listed separately and as fairly quick completions according to estimates (8-10 hours for one version, and 10-12 for the other), so it's possible that fans will be able to add both stacks to their accounts once Madden NFL 21 is live on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass. The game doesn't utilise Smart Delivery (hence two separate achievement lists), although the post doesn't specify which version(s) will be available, so we'll have to wait and see.
