Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 comes to Xbox Series X|S next month

By Heidi Nicholas,
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 comes to Xbox Series X|S on March 26th, bringing 4K support, spatial audio, improved resolution, and more as part of a "true next-gen experience." The game will run at 120 FPS at 1080P or 60 FPS in 4K, while the Xbox Series S version "will render at 1440P and upscale to 4K." Check out the Xbox Series X|S trailer below:

Activision's Daniel Noel says, "watch the levels come to life like never before using sharper dynamic shadows, reflections, and lens flare, plus enhanced skater textures and more. There’s no better time to become the G.O.A.T."

There are a few ways to play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 on Xbox Series X|S. If you own a digital copy of the game, you can upgrade to the Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle for $10, which gets you access to the content included with the Digital Deluxe Edition such as the "secret skater Ripper," gear for Create-A-Skater, and retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen. If you already own the Digital Deluxe Edition on Xbox One, the next-gen upgrade will be free. Otherwise, the Xbox Series X|S version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be available for $49.99 USD for either the physical disc version or the Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle on the Xbox Store.

If you've been holding back on getting the game or looking for an excuse to play it through again, March looks like a good time to jump back into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 +2 — you can check out Luke's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 review to see why he thinks it's "the sickest of remakes."
