No More Robots announced the upcoming Xbox Series X|S optimisations in a blog post on Xbox Wire, although a specific date hasn’t been revealed yet. When the update does drop — via Smart Delivery — you can expect to see resolution improvements by way of two-mode options. You’ll be able to choose between a 1080p/60fps performance mode on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, or, 4K/30 fps on Xbox Series X and 1440p/30fps on Xbox Series S. No matter what you choose, we are sure it will look great with the expected improvements, including draw distance, terrain and shadow quality, anti-aliasing, motion blur, and increased foliage.You’ll also be able to enjoy all of those glorious features while playing in multiplayer lobbies of up to eight players. Due to the optimisation features, No More Robots has said that it has been able to double the size of the lobbies on Xbox Series X|S consoles. As if that wasn’t enough, Descenders will also open up cross-play between Xbox, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Steam players, giving you more people to fill those lobbies with.Will you be descending into the new features this summer?
