A new update is rolling out for Xbox consoles and the Xbox mobile app, with Microsoft announcing that the missing achievements feature will return to the mobile app for all users by the end of the month.

In a new Xbox Wire post, Xbox's director of program management, Jason Ronald, revealed that from today, select users will be able to view Gamerscore leaders and will soon be "adding the ability to view achievements on game detail pages to help track your progress." All users will receive these updates in the app by the end of the month, which should make your hunt for achievements a little easier.

Xbox consoles are also getting a couple of handy new features. You'll now be able to download games to your Xbox Series X|S "as quickly as possible with the new suspend game feature in My games & apps." From today, the queue will warn you if an active game is slowing download speeds and will give you the option to suspend your active game to free up bandwidth and speed up the download. With Quick Resume, you'll be able to jump right back into the game from where you left off.

Your Xbox console will now also highlight to you games your friends play with Xbox Game Pass. Play with your Friends now appears when friends play an Xbox Game Pass title and allows you to join a multiplayer session or begin installing the games your friends are playing.

Finally, you'll be able to explore new game recommendations and collections of games in Xbox Game Pass on your console. The Game Pass hub will make recommendations to you based on what games you've previously played with the "Because you played" tab. You'll also soon find games of certain genres all bundled together in one place for you to peruse, starting with the "Multiplayer" collection. Over time, Microsoft says it will be adding more collections for genres such as first-person shooters, science fiction, horror, sandbox, mystery, anime, fantasy, and more.
