Planet Coaster is about to indulge in Hollywood spectacle when its two latest DLC packs launch on April 29th. Introducing the Ghostbusters Pack, a lovingly curated collection of amusements themed around the 1984 hit movie. The pack features a new flat ride called The Ghostbusters Experience, which allows guests to don their own Proton Packs and bust ghosts in an attempt to achieve the highest score in an interactive experience. You’ll also have access to the new RollerGhoster — a moderately high-speed coaster for kids that’s helmed by everyone's favourite greedy green ghost, Slimer — and hundreds of scenery and sound pieces taken straight from the movie, including a towering Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. This pack also contains a new narrative campaign that uses the talents of Dan Aykroyd (Raymond Stantz) and William Atherton (Walter Peck). You’ll need to help rid your park of ghosts and ultimately protect your guests from the paranormal.

The second DLC pack coming to Planet Coaster is the Studios Pack, which is chock full of silver screen goodies to bring Hollywood style to your park. You’ll be able to create awesome blockbuster sets straight from the movies and run tours for your guests. The pack contains items such as a train that derails, wild west props for shootouts, zombie animatronics, and cars that crash and explode. Using these props you’ll be able to create your own movie sets and give your guests a Hollywood experience with set tours from a studio bus called Big Screen Tour. Of course, no Planet Coaster DLC is worth its salt without new rides: Re-Motion is a simulator that sits guests in pods attached to a robotic arm that can rotate 360 degrees. Secondly, and possibly one of the most terrifying rides is Horror Heights, a drop tower ride that’s designed to be set up within buildings, plunging your guests to the depths. The blueprint that comes with the ride is set within an undead infested building and the ride is an elevator that drops from the raging fires on the rooftop to the zombie-filled car park below.

The Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters and Studio Pack both arrive on April 29th. For those of you in the US or Canada that purchase any Plant Coaster DLC and a Ghostbusters movie from the Microsoft store between April 29th and May 5th, you’ll receive a $5 Xbox Gift Card.
