Descenders to stay on Xbox Game Pass "for a very long time to come"

By Heidi Nicholas,
Descenders publisher Mike Rose recently tweeted to celebrate the two year anniversary of Descenders having launched on Xbox Game Pass, and confirmed it will stay in the Game Pass library "for a very long time to come."

Descenders

Over on Twitter, Rose mentioned that over four million gamers have played Descenders across Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and xCloud in the two years since the game joined the Game Pass library. He also confirmed that the Descenders team has "renewed with Xbox," meaning that Descenders won't be leaving Game Pass "for a very long time to come."

Interestingly, Rose noted that downloads of Descenders with Xbox Game Pass were higher in the second year of it being available with the service than in the first, and that there are now more than one million sessions every month.

Along with the fact that Descenders is biggest in the US, UK, Brazil, Canada, and Australia, Rose also confirmed that we'll get news of the Xbox Series X|S optimisation "extremely soon," adding, "not long to wait now!" We'll be sure to update you when that news arrives. Have you played Descenders since it joined Xbox Game Pass? Let us know what you think in the comments!
