Metro: Last Light Gameplay Footage

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
The sequel to Metro 2033 was one of the many games on show at this year's E3 conference. Although the obligatory E3 trailer released before the event had even started, the gameplay footage from the demo has only just made its way into the public eye.

In part one of the footage, Artyom and Khan infiltrate the Reich sentry camp "in pursuit of the mysterious prisoner who holds the key to peace in the Metro". The footage has a distinct Splinter Cell vibe as the player takes out all of the light sources and shrouds the scene in darkness, until an ill-timed shot causes the scene to erupt into gunfire:

Part two of the footage will be released on July 28th, and we'll be sure to bring it to you when it goes live.

Metro: Last Light is due to be released in 2012.
