Dying Light 2 release date may have leaked ahead of tonight's stream

By Sean Carey,
It appears that Dying Light 2's release date may have leaked ahead of tonights big re-reveal. According to a now-removed banner advert, Dying Light 2 will reportedly launch on December 7th, 2021.

According to Twitter user Okami13, the ad for Dying Light 2 was spotted on the Italian website Everyeye.it. The advert shows the game's supposed release date of December 7th, 2021, alongside a preorder button and the confirmed platforms: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.

Although it's always wise to take unconfirmed release date news such as this with a pinch of salt, the ad does look pretty official, and the fact that it's now been removed suggests it could be legit. Either way, Techland will hopefully confirm Dying Light 2's release date during tonight's (May 27th) stream. The stream kicks off at 2pm PT/3pm ET/8pm BST/9pm CEST and can be watched over on Techland's official Twitch channel.
