Splinter Cell, Division, and Ghost Recon multiplayer first-person shooter leaks online

By Sean Carey,
An upcoming Ubisoft multiplayer first-person shooter that combines the worlds of The Division, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell has reportedly leaked on social media ahead of its official reveal.

Splinter Cell, Division, Ghost Recon crossover

As reported by VGC, Twitter user Zer0Bytes shared several images of the PvP multiplayer game codenamed "BattleCat" from what looks to be an internal marketing document. VGC believes these images to be genuine. The game has supposedly been in testing since January, according to Zer0Bytes, and is reportedly coming to both consoles and PC. The images show groups of playable characters such as the Cleaners and Outcasts from The Division, the Wolves from Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and Splinter Cell's Echelon group.

The images also detail game modes called Escort and Ringleader. Escort has one team escorting a package while another team tries to stop them, and Ringleader has teams fight it out while collecting rings from downed opponents. Each groups' abilities and equipment have also been revealed. Echelon squad members are "invisible on the minimap" and can reveal the location of an enemy team, while the Wolves can make use of personal shields or deploy a Mag Barrier for cover.

VGC reports that the game is in the early stages of development and will not feature at Ubisoft's E3 event, Ubisoft Forward, later this week.

What do you make of this new game? I think we'd rather have a new Splinter Cell at this point. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
