The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes gets a new E3 trailer

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Supermassive Games has released a new trailer for the third game in the The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes at Summer Games Fest.

The interactive horror genre gained popularity after the release of Until Dawn, and Supermassive has been following up its stellar work with this anthology. House of Ashes will follow a military unit as they search through some subterranean ruins. The trailer showcases a few story beats and moments of horrific action. There is a really strong military vibe, certainly more so than expected for a horror game. At around 1:17, things get spicy with the first appearance of a catacombs monster.

The game follows Man of Medan and Little Hope. Take a little peak at the trailer, if you dare, and tell us if it looks like your bag!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
