Adventure anthology Last Stop gets new July release date

By Heidi Nicholas,
Adventure anthology Last Stop, which featured in both our complete guide to 2021's Xbox games and our full Xbox Indie Showcase recap, has now had its release date confirmed as July 22nd. Check out the new release date trailer below:

Last Stop is a single-player third-person adventure which, by means of supernatural shenanigans, twists together the lives of three different characters: high-schooler Donna, single dad John, and businesswoman Meena. It's a story-rich, narrative-focused game, with a few mini-games and exploration options sprinkled in.

We spoke to Jonathan Burroughs and Terry Kenny, co-founders and directors for developer Variable State, in our Xbox Indie Spotlight on Last Stop, where Burroughs told us that “the majority of the gameplay is making dialogue choices and experiencing the story," adding, "Last Stop is first and foremost a story experience.”

There's not long to go now before Last Stop launches on July 22nd. What do you think? Will you be picking it up on day one as your next story-rich adventure? Let us know in the comments!
