, at the San Diego Comic-Con seemed a little too obvious, but appropriate, considering Spider-Man's comic origins.
Activision, during their Comic-Con presentation, dated X-Men Destiny
. A little later in their event, Activision announced that Spider-Man: Edge of Time
will be hitting store shelves on October 4, 2011.
For those that need a refresher on the game, Spider-Man: Edge of Time
let's you take control of Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099) in the year 2099, where Alchemax rules because scientist Walter Sloan founded the company long before its time. Now O'Hara must save the future and Peter Parker, who died as a result of the earlier inception of Alchemax.Edit:
