Kinect Star Wars Console Bundle Revealed

Microsoft and LucasArts revealed today that the Limited Edition Gears of War 3-themed console would not be the only game in town this holiday season. Now gamers will have to choose between that or the newly announced Kinect Star Wars -themed bundle.

Let's take a closer look at a couple of things.

First, here's a shot of the R2-D2 inspired console itself:

Second, here's a close-up of the specially-designed controller for the bundle. Based on the transforming d-pad model, it's patterned after C-3PO:

And finally, here's an image of the Kinect included with the bundle. This marks the first time the Kinect will be available in something other than the standard black:
