It's been a long time since anything has knocked Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War down a peg, but GTA V has managed it this week, thanks in part to the Los Santos Tuners update for GTA Online. Don't forget, though, that GTA V leaves Xbox Game Pass soon, which probably won't help its ranking in the chart.

A little further down, we see Splitgate making its first appearance in the top 20 — despite the fact that it technically releases tomorrow — thanks to its open beta. Just below, Microsoft Flight Simulator (Win 10) is back in the top 40 at 24th, perhaps as a result of players testing their skills before the console version launches tomorrow. Smite has fallen six places to 28th as the excitement for its mid-season update tapers off, while Battlefield 4 has dropped five places to 30th. Rounding out the top 40, we have Star Wars Battlefront II reappearing at 39th, perhaps due to its inclusion on the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale, while Minecraft has fallen two spaces to 40th. This week's three disappearances, meanwhile, are Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Dark Alliance, and Grounded, which has fallen more quickly than expected after its achievement update. Looking ahead, we've got a number of highly-anticipated Xbox Game Pass launches, including Omno and The Ascent, while the console version of Microsoft Flight Simulator launches tomorrow. What are you expecting to see in the top 40 next? Will GTA V keep its spot in first place? Let us know what you think in the comments!
