The Gunstringer Priced and Dated

By Michelle Balsan, 7 years ago
Since announcing that The Gunstringer would be a retail release, Twisted Pixel has been fairly quiet about their upcoming, Kinect-enabled rail-shooter.

Today, they released several details about the upcoming title, all of which are designed to get your dollars once the game hits store shelves.

First, the game will retail for a budgeted price of $39.99. That's not bad in and of itself, but when you consider that The Gunstringer will also come with a download token for Fruit Ninja Kinect, a $10 title, the value of the package increases substantially.

Second, a free DLC add-on, titled "The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles", will be available at launch. Here's the Microsoft description of the expansion:
In this add-on, Wavy Tube Man Jr. steals a time machine to prevent his father's death at the hands of "The Gunstringer," and it's up to players to battle classic western cowboys and futuristic warriors to save the world from destruction.
Third, a pre-order for The Gunstringer from select, not-yet-specified, US and European retailers will net two tokens for a free Avatar Prop from the game.

Convinced yet? Well, if you are, then you'll also want to know that the game will be arriving on September 13th in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia; and September 16th in Europe.
