Park Beyond tasks you with creating "the universe's greatest theme park" By Heidi Nicholas, 26 Aug 2021 FollowtopicsBandai Namco EntertainmentXbox Series X|SManagementHeidi Nicholas The announcement trailer for Park Beyond, the park management game from Limbic Entertainment, confirmed that it's set to arrive sometime in 2022. Check out the trailer below: According to Bandai Namco, Park Beyond has us taking on the role of Visioneer at Cloudstormers, a theme park design company. Their old-fashioned thinking has been holding them back, so your job is to "build parks that are a once-in-a-lifetime experience." You'll be aided in this by Phil, another Visioneer, Blaize, who will test the rides you create, and Izzy, who creates the goals for each park. And you apparently won't need to worry about anything as trivial as gravity, either. "Thanks to some unprecedented breakthroughs in engineering, your team has developed a process called Impossification! This system lets you push the concept of any ride beyond the laws of gravity and physics in the most exciting ways possible. You’ll be able to create fire-breathing roller coaster trains that leap over gaps like a dragon in flight. You can shoot guests across the park in huge cannons, dunk them into a gigantic fishbowl with an enormous octopus, or even send them into the stratosphere in a real spaceship!"Park Beyond is set to launch for Xbox Series X|S in 2022.More Park Beyond stories: Free Play Days features three free Xbox games this weekend Free Play Days features four free Xbox games this weekend Park Beyond devs talk Patch 2.0, extreme sports DLC, & Mod.io support Park Beyond review: A health and safety inspector's worst nightmare Park Beyond Xbox achievements zoom in ahead of today's launch Xbox Series X|SAnnouncement Written by Heidi NicholasHeidi tends to lean towards indie games, RPGs, and open-world games on Xbox, and when not playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, happily installs every new wholesome game that appears on Xbox Game Pass, before diving back into favorites like The Witcher 3.
