Lake unobtainable achievement to be fixed in patch that's "hopefully" coming today

Lake launched for Xbox consoles yesterday, and players soon discovered that the game has a broken achievement. Developer Gamious has been quick off the mark and has now vowed to fix the unobtainable in a patch that's hopefully coming today.

Looking at the Lake achievement list, we can see that nobody on TA has unlocked the Free Spirit achievement, and digging a little further, it appears that not a single player on the Xbox network has unlocked it either.

Lake's developer Gamious is already aware of the issue (and several other issues plaguing the Xbox version) and is releasing a patch that should fix the achievement and other problems the game is facing. In a tweet, the developer said that the patch will fix some branching narrative issues, game locks, a glitching settings menu, AI character and car bugs, "one broken achievement," and more. Gamious hasn't said when the patch will roll out to players but tweeted yesterday that the patch is "on its way" and that any issues "will most likely be solved within 24 hours." Publisher WhiteThorn Games also tweeted yesterday saying that the patch would "hopefully" roll out to players within the next 24 hours.
