According to a new rumour that's doing the rounds on the internet, Quantic Dream, the developer of PlayStation exclusives Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, is reportedly working on a new Star Wars game.

As reported by VGC, the rumour comes from French YouTuber Gatouz, who claims that Quantic Dream has signed a deal with Disney for a Star Wars game now that the developer's three-game contract with Sony has ended. "They now finished their contract with Sony and will be signing with Disney," Gatouz said. "It looks like they will be working on a Star Wars game."

The claim was corroborated by insider Tom Henderson who posted a rather cryptic Star Wars and Detroit: Become Human crossover image before confirming that he'd heard the same as Gatouz.

Earlier this year, Lucasfilm Games announced it had entered into a partnership with Ubisoft to create a new story-driven, open-world Star Wars game and that it was excited to open the franchise to other developers.
