Crimson Spires

xbox quick completions

This week's easiest game on sale looks to be visual novel Crimson Spires, with 12 achievements that can all be unlocked in a little over half an hour. As the tiny 1.04 ratio suggests, this won't even put up the slightest challenge, although that's a good chunk of change to part with for less than an hour of entertainment. Not that you even stand to get too much of that, going by the 2.5/5 community rating...

Almost There

xbox quick completions

Almost There is the cheapest game from this selection, with a massive 90% lopped off its usual price point. The fast-paced platformer looks and feels like an even more basic N+, and it sits at the upper end of what can be considered a quick completion (especially in this day and age) with an estimate of 6-8 hours and a ratio of 2.4. Again, a 2.7/5 user rating isn't exactly glowing, but seeing as this one is mere pennies, it might be worth a punt all the same.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection

With Castlevania Advance Collection finally arriving last week, what better time to recommend its precursor? Castlevania Anniversary Collection brings together (almost) all of the classic vampire-slaying Konami games from yesteryear in one package and is this week's highest-rated sale title with a well-deserved 4.4/5 score. It's another 6-8 hour completion estimate and while you might expect a collection of eight famously quite tough retro games to be harder and take longer, most of the achievements can be earned quicker by using each game's password system to jump right to the end.
