Update 2: Preorders are live now! Hit the links below to try and secure one in your region — we'll add more links as we find them.

Update: Microsoft stated in its earlier Xbox Wire post that Target.com would ship the Xbox Mini Fridge to Canada. Unfortunately, that was incorrect, and instead, Canadian customers will be able to purchase a Mini Fridge from the Xbox Gear Store.

A Microsoft spokesperson said, "We can confirm we will be shipping online orders of the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge to our fans in Canada this holiday. Unfortunately, we got an update today from our partners at Target that they are not able to offer shipping to Canada through their website. Good news however, our team is working hard to support shipping the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge to our fans in Canada only directly from our Xbox Gear store. We plan to have this first wave of units to customer in Canada this December and will have more details to share very soon on pre-orders through our Xbox Gear store."

Original Story: Well, if you still can't get your hands on an actual Xbox Series X, perhaps a mini fridge will do? Microsoft has now revealed more details on its Xbox Series X Mini Fridge, announcing that preorders will go live on October 19th.

The Xbox Mini Fridge, which will set you back $99.99/£89.99/€99.00, has a bunch of features to make it look similar to an Xbox Series X console. There are green LEDs in the top to match that of the green grill in the Series X and a working USB port on the front of the door to charge your devices. The fridge can hold up to 10 cans of your favourite beverage, and it has two shelves in the door for snacks. It also comes with a DC power adapter if you want to take your fridge on the go.

Microsoft says the Xbox Mini Fridge will go up for preorder on October 19th before arriving at retailers in December 2021. In the US, it will exclusively be available from Target and on Target.com. Those in Canada will also be able to purchase the fridge online via Target.com.

In the UK, you'll be able to pick up the Mini Fridge from Game, while those located in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, and Poland can grab their own from Game Stop EU, Micromania, or Toynk (via Amazon).

Microsoft notes that it's "working to bring the Xbox Mini Fridge to as many fans as possible and will continue to expand regional availability in 2022, pending regulatory approvals and restrictions by market."

Will you be stumping up the cash for the Xbox Mini Fridge, or do you think that all limited edition console-based mini-fridges are wack not worth the money? Let us know in the comments below!
