Dragon Ball FighterZ, The Forgotten City, and nine more games join Xbox Game Pass soon

By Heidi Nicholas,
Microsoft has just confirmed the next batch of games that will arrive for Xbox Game Pass soon. Some, like Echo Generation and Age of Empires IV, we already knew were making their way to the Xbox Game Pass library this month, while others, such as Into the Pit and Outriders join the service today — but Microsoft has also confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ, Everspace 2, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Bassmaster Fishing 2022, Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition, The Forgotten City, and Backbone all join Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass for PC soon, too.

There's quite the range of genres on the way to the Xbox Game Pass library. Into the Pit is described as a retro-FPS roguelite in which you fight to save a cursed village, while Outriders is an RPG shooter in which you make your way across a hostile planet known as Enoch. Dragon Ball FighterZ brings with it "epic fights, destructible stages, and famous events ripped from the Dragon Ball anime," while Echo Generation is a 90s adventure in which you investigate the strange happenings going on in your hometown, taking part in turn-based fights. Everspace 2 is a single-player "spaceship shooter," while Age of Empires IV is an RTS in which you dive into history for the "epic historical battles that shaped the world." Then we have Alan Wake's American Nightmare, an action-horror in which Alan Wake faces off against Mr. Scratch, while Backbone, a post-noir adventure, has you investigating a mystery in a city inhabited by animals. There's Bassmaster Fishing 2022, which encapsulates the "thrill of competitive bass fishing," Nongunz: Doppleganger Edition, a roguelite platformer, and The Forgotten City, an adventure game which takes place in an ancient Roman city.

In other words, there's a lot on the way for the Xbox Game Pass service — along with everything leaving Xbox Game Pass soon. What will you be playing first? Let us know in the comments!
