Pandemic: The Board Game could be delisted from the Xbox Store soon

By Sean Carey,
It looks like Asmodee Digital's Pandemic: The Board Game will be delisted from the Xbox Store at the end of this month.

Pandemic: The Board Game Achievements

The news comes from the r/boardgames subreddit, where user bad_boy_barry points out that the game has already been removed from Steam, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. They appear to have also posted an email from Asmodee Digital Support noting the delisting. "First of all, we want to thank you and all the Pandemic players for your loyalty and support over time," the post reads. "Unfortunately, we are taking the Pandemic app off the stores. We have worked hard over four years on Pandemic, and withdrawing it from the stores has not been an easy choice. This decision was made with a heavy heart for a multitude of reasons that we cannot disclose.

"For now, only PC, App Store & Google Play has been removed. Microsoft version will follow January 31st 2022 and then Nintendo Switch by the end of July 2022."

We've reached out to Asmodee Digital for confirmation of the delisting, but with the game already removed from other digital storefronts, the Reddit post looks legitimate, and you won't be able to purchase Pandemic: The Board Game (and we assume its DLC expansions) from the Xbox Store after January 31st. The game never saw a physical release, so if you do want to own this one, now would be the time to buy it. Pandemic: The Board Game is also currently available with Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC but only until tomorrow (January 15th).

Pandemic: The Board Game could be delisted on January 31st.
