The Dark Eye – Demonicon Art & Details

Do you love RPGs but think that even the most niche of titles is "too mainstream"? If so, do I have the game for you!

Back in September of 2010, Kalypso Media (publishers of The First Templar and Tropico 3) acquired the rights to The Dark Eye – Demonicon, a third person Action-RPG title that has its roots in a German pen-and-paper RPG called Das Schwarze Auge (or The Dark Eye).

Since then, all's been quiet on zee German front with scant news or details of the game to be found. That is until today, when the character art for Cairon, the protagonist for the story, came forward.

Kalypso is describing Cairon with the following:

In his short 25 years, Cairon has borne witness to more horrors than most people endure in a lifetime. A life on the run through the Shadow Lands made him a fighter without compromise. As well as the deadly fighting skills learned from his father and surviving the tough streets, Cairon has mastered a fast fighting style using his arm-armour and sword.
