Monster Crown launches for Xbox One in February

By Heidi Nicholas,
We now have a release date for turn-based monster battler Monster Crown, which launches for Xbox One on February 22nd.

Monster Crown is already out on Steam, where it sits with "very positive" reviews. "Dive into a dark world where monsters rule and make pacts with them to defeat an evil young woman seeking power," the description reads. "Hunt, battle, tame and breed monsters to create your own legacy. Together with your monsters, you can restore the balance to Crown Island."

In Monster Crown, you make pacts with monsters "to receive their protection in return for shelter," but you can also breed over 200 monsters to make your own new monster. You'll "travel across Crown Island with your monster allies to uncover a dark world," and will apparently have a big decision to make, which will "drastically change the ending and post-game."

The turn-based RPG looks as though it could be darker and more mature in tone than other monster battling games — we'll find out when Monster Crown launches on February 22nd. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments!
