Little Orpheus brings side-scrolling adventure to Xbox in March

By Tom West,
Little Orpheus is a side-scrolling adventure game that will have you exploring the centre of the earth and saving the world when it launches on March 1st.

Developed by The Chinese Room, Little Orpheus originally started life as an Apple Arcade title, but is now heading to consoles and PC after a successful stint on the platform. The game follows the story of Comrade Ivanovich, a Soviet cosmonaut who is sent to explore the centre of the Earth, disappears for three years, and then reappears with an incredible story about saving the world.

Comrade Ivanovich’s journey will take us to the Earth’s core to explore prehistoric jungles, lost civilisations, and underwater kingdoms when it launches later this year. Little Orpheus will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC, as a definitive edition on March 1st. The game is set to include new hi-resolution textures, enhanced graphics and effects, new moves, new animations, and more — we'll even get the game’s bonus ninth episode: A Rush of Onion to the Head.

We've already picked up the achievement list for Little Orpheus, which offers 1,000 Gamerscore for its 26 achievements. Will you be looking to explore the Earth's core when the game launches in March? Let us know in the comments!
