New Prey 2 Screenshots Released

By Andrew Ogley, 5 years ago
A number of new screenshots from the upcoming Prey 2 have been released during this year's QuakeCon.

When the title was originally announced in March this year, there was speculation that the game would use the new id Tech 5 engine that was under development for the game Rage. However, a little later in April, Human Head's lead designer, Chris Rhinehart, quashed the rumours and explained that the team had opted to use the older version of the id Tech engine. He went on further to explain the various technical modifications that they had done to the engine to get the desired graphical results.

The newly unveiled screenshots clearly show how much work the team at Human Head have put into their own highly modified version of the id Tech 4 engine. It appears that all their work has paid off in spades with some spectacular looking images, all from what is a technically outdated engine.
