Trek to Yomi gets May release date, coming to Xbox Game Pass day one

Devolver Digital has announced its monochrome samurai action game Trek to Yomi will launch on May 5th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.


The release date was announced alongside a new 15-minute gameplay trailer, giving us another look at the stylish 2.5D action game. In Trek to Yomi, you play as a young swordsman named Hiroki who makes a vow to his dying master to protect his town and its people from outside threats. Hiroki then sets out on a voyage "beyond life and death" to confront himself and decide his fate.

As a vow to his dying Master, the young swordsman Hiroki is sworn to protect his town and the people he loves against all threats. Faced with tragedy and bound to duty, the lone samurai must voyage beyond life and death to confront himself and decide his path forward.
