FIFA 22: Best new TOTW cards, SBCs, and objectives (May 21st, 2022)

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,

This is our weekly FIFA 22's Ultimate Team mode news. That includes a list of the Team of the Week cards, including our chosen pick, as well as the newest SBCs and the objectives.

What players are in Team of the Week?

FIFA 22

It's TOTW 25! There are plenty of good cards slotted in here if you look carefully. The highest-ranked cards start out with Kevin De Bryne. He is rocking a 94-rated CAM card that is slightly under the bracket set by his TOTS card. That means he comes in at 130k for this card, whereas his TOTY or TOTS 96-rated entries come in at the 900k mark. All said, this is actually a bit of a robbery. Next up is 89-rated Hernandez in the LB slot for AC Milan, with another rocket of a card. This is no doubt one of the best cards in this position in the game, but it is only trading for around 112k. This low price isn't indicative of quality. The card will drop in price again when he gets his TOTS card in two weeks' time — which will no doubt also upgrade him to the best LB in the game, bar none. Finally, we can't resist shouting about 88-rated Ben Yedder for 50k. Again, the short but lethal Monaco man has a 92-rated FUT Captain card and has had an 88-rated POTM card in the past. For 50k, though, he will still put up great numbers.

Best TOTW Deal: Pedraza (Villareal — LB — 84)

The Featured Star card this week is for Villareal LB Predraza, and he is also our cheap pick. He has an odd combination of near all 80 stats, which is very rare in a wing-back. However, it will suit most players starting out a La Liga team down to the ground — especially given his 12k cost. Really, this is an easy card to recommend, so long as you haven't got loads of money in the bank for something more exciting. A good snap up!

What are the FIFA SBCs this week?

FIFA 22

We have picked the currently available SBCs and priced them as per FUTbin's amazing listings. Dorsch has a TOTS Moments card this 92-rated for his Bundesliga team Augsburg. It goes for 100k and is well worth the price of admission — especially if you have fodder lying around.

Then there is the TOTS monster Gvardiol for RB Leipzig for only 118k. He has 92 pace, 90 defence, and 93 physical... I mean what more do you want? This card is absurd, you'll just have to be careful with that high attacking work rate. Sentinel gets him to 97-rated and Anchor to 96-rated, so make sure you apply something to him.

As for POTM cards, we have two new ones. One is an 87-rated version of Tonali which we love. However, I would suggest waiting until his TITS, but if you want a mid-tier card until then he does only cost 40k. Then we have Bourigeaud in the RW for Ligue Un side Rennes. It'll cost 23k, but again, the guy will have some sort of TOTS presence for Ligue Un next week so hold off if needs be. Also, rubbish skill moves and weak foot let this card down massively.

More TOTS cards for La Liga will be out over the weekend.

Objectives and Misc.

Plenty here to dig into. There is TOTS Tawamba for Saudi Pro League that won't take you any effort what-so-ever really. The rest of the team is on the market, alongside the huge La Liga TOTS which will start getting Objective cards over the coming week. Lovely. Earning Silver Stars player Al Sagour will take you the normal eight goals, six assists, and three wins. It's an all 80s card, so take a peek!
