Assassin's Creed Origins gets Xbox Game Pass release date

By Sean Carey,

Two Ubisoft games were announced for Xbox Game Pass recently, and we now have arrival dates for both! For Honor: Marching Fire Edition joins Xbox Game Pass on June 1st and Assassin's Creed Origins on June 7th.

Back in April, Assassin's Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition were confirmed for Xbox Game Pass, but a date for their arrival was not given. Now, on the Xbox Game Pass app on console, we can see when these two will drop into the service.

Assassin's Creed Origins gets Xbox Game Pass release date

When do Assassin's Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire join Xbox Game Pass?

For Honor: Marching Fire joins Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming on June 1st. As it stands, For Honor is already included with the subscription service, but this new edition upgrades the base game to the Marching Fire Edition, which adds four new heroes and some new modes.

Assassin's Creed Origins joins Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming on June 7th. Just recently, an update for the game was spotted on the PlayStation database that will enable a higher framerate when running on PS5. We expect that whatever this update is will also come to Xbox Series consoles, allowing you to play the game at 60fps.

Will you be checking out either of these when they join Xbox Game Pass? Let us know down in the comments!
