Ubisoft to "unveil the future of Assassin's Creed" in September By Sean Carey, 14 Jun 2022 FollowtopicsXbox Series X|SSean Carey Ubisoft has announced it will reveal what's next for the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise in a special event that's set for later this year. During the Assassin's Creed 15th Anniversary Celebration, where Ubisoft lifted the assassin's hood on a bunch of free content coming to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, franchise community developer Alice Terrett revealed that, in September, Ubisoft will "unveil the future of Assassin's Creed during a very special event."Next Assassin's Creed game rumoured to launch in 2023It's rumoured that the next Assassin's Creed will focus on Valhalla character Basim. Reports from earlier this year claim that this rumoured game, codenamed Rift, was originally an expansion for Valhalla, but it's now been made into a full, standalone title, and while it's said to be smaller in scope than Valhalla (not a bad thing) it will focus more on stealth than action.
