By Sean Carey,

A new update for Forza Horizon 5 that brings co-op to Horizon Stories, adds new Hot Wheels cars, and makes numerous bug fixes, is available to download now.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 9 is just around the corner, and in preparation for the new Series, Playground has dropped a new update that features plenty of new additions and bug fixes.

Forza Horizon 5 series 9 patch update

One major new addition included with the update is online co-op for Horizon Stories — up to six players in a convoy will now be able to play through these side stories together. There are also some new Hot Wheels cars and cosmetics (most of which will be revealed once the new Festival Playlist goes live), and a new 'Forza EV' Monthly Rivals event. The update also includes numerous fixes for Convoys, a duplicate filter for the car select screen, a Speed Zone exploit, and an issue where Daily Challenges in the Festival Playlist would randomly reset.
