Potion Permit brews up release date

By Heidi Nicholas,

Sim RPG Potion Permit will have us diagnosing symptoms, gathering ingredients, brewing remedies, and much more when it launches in September.

Potion Permit, an open-ended pixel sim RPG, has confirmed its release date for September 22nd, when we'll be busy taking care of the residents of Moonbury: diagnosing their symptoms, gathering ingredients for a cure (battling monsters while we do so), brewing remedies, gaining the trust of our patients, developing the town, and more. Check out the release date trailer below:

Potion Permit launches for Xbox on September 22nd

Potion Permit is one we've had our eye on for a while — we had the chance to talk to developer MassHive Media's creative director Andika Pradana in our Potion Permit interview, where we took a deep dive into the details of the game.

If it's the more mystical side of things that you're interested in, we also included Potion Permit in our list of magical Xbox games that should help tide you over until Hogwarts Legacy arrives. If you can't wait until September to try it, don't forget that Potion Permit is one of the upcoming Xbox games you can play today thanks to Steam Next Fest.

Does Potion Permit look like your kind of thing? Will you be picking it up in September? Let us know in the comments!
