The Nintendo 64 version of GoldenEye has gone down as one of the best first-person shooters in history. Back in July, when we announced that a remake would be coming to the Xbox 360, most of you were understandably excited, especially as it would be the first time that some of you will have had a chance to play the game. Not being a company to miss a chance at a spot of publicity, Activision has taken the HD remake to Gamescom in Cologne, and has been showing off the brand new MI-6 Ops mode.
The MI-6 Ops mode will allow players to conquer all-new levels, which are completely distinct from the levels found in the campaign. The levels span a variety of environments from the storyline and players will be challenged to complete different Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Download Defense objectives:
• Download Defense - Defend your position while retrieving valuable data.
• Assault - Reach your checkpoint without being killed.
• Elimination - Neutralize all enemies before the clock runs out.
• Stealth - Remove targets without being seen.
