Warner Bros have released a number of screenshots from their forthcoming title, Batman: Arkham City.

The selection of new images focus mainly around Batman's coldest archenemy, Mr Freeze, and of course, they also give us an idea of just what the frosty villain is capable of. The screenshots follow hot on the heels of the trailer that was released a couple of days ago.

Arkham City
is the sequel to the extremely successful Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360) released back in 2009. The game features a number of new, but still well-known enemies, and some familiar faces also make a 'welcome' return.

Batman: Arkham City is currently under development by Rocksteady Studios, and will be published by Warner Bros. The highly anticipated title is scheduled for release on October 18th, 2011 in North America, October 19th in Australia, and October 21st in Europe.
