Perhaps no game is bigger than BioShock Infinite
, the third game in Irrational Games' unique saga. Though this game sees the departure from underwater Rapture to a sprawling city in the sky called Columbia, Irrational Games has high standards of quality and this third journey in the Bio-sphere shouldn't disappoint.
The second screenshot shows a tear, which are new to the series. It is literally a tear in the fabric of the universe that crosses over into a parallel universe. All citizens of Columbia can see them, but for some reason the young woman you're protecting can manipulate them. That's just a small bit of mystery surrounding this upcoming title.
The game kept a lower profile at Gamescom than its award-winning appearance at E3 earlier this year, but the hype is still sky-high. Look toward the clouds sometime in 2012 to find BioShock Infinite
