In one of the wackier games to come to light from Gamescom, Backbone Entertainment, 345 Games and Comedy Central Games are showing off a bit of their upcoming, downloadable title, Ugly Americans Apocalypsegeddon
For those unfamiliar with the Comedy Central series, Ugly Americans
follows the "adventures" of Mark Lilly, a social worker in New York who's tasked with "integrating" members of the "ugly" populace together. He works with Lenoard (a wizard), Callie (the half-human daughter of the devil), and his boss Twayne (also a demon). Also worth mentioning is Mark's roommate, Randall, who's a zombie.
In short, it's an outrageous show full of outrageous circumstances and the game aims to follow that lead with (what appears to be) some four-player co-op beat-em-up action. Feel free to check out our previous coverage
for more info.
Ugly Americans Apocalypsegeddon
is set for release on the Xbox LIVE Arcade on August 31st, and will cost 800 MSP.
