A Virus Named TOM Announced for XBLA

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
Dr X was the brains behind the City of Tomorrow. Houses that clean themselves, teleporters and robot dogs are commonplace. Unfortunately, MegaTech fired Dr X as soon as the last chrome brick was laid, as an old scientist isn't really the best advert for the thoroughly modern City of Tomorrow. Even more unfortunately for MegaTech, DR X has one final invention that he has yet to reveal - a little virus called TOM.

A Virus Named TOM is an action-puzzler that will be heading to Xbox LIVE Arcade. Players must rearrange circuits to spread the virus, all whilst dodging anti-virus drones who are hell-bent on destroying you. The game supports co-operative play for up to four players, but when you tire of working with your friends, you can switch to battle mode. Here, you can take on your friends in the battle to find out who is the supreme virus. In the words of developer MisfitsAttic, "Go forth, infect, cause mayhem... destroy tomorrow, today!"
